Mrs Owton’s Unsmoked Dry Cured Back Bacon (400g) is a premium, traditionally prepared cut that delivers rich, savoury flavour without the smokiness. Dry-cured by hand using time-honoured methods, it offers the perfect balance of lean and fat.
For best results, cook the rashers in a cold pan over medium heat, allowing the fat to render slowly. Fry for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Alternatively, grill under a medium heat for a similar duration, turning once for even cooking.
This bacon is ideal for a classic full English breakfast, layered into a bacon sandwich, or wrapped around chicken breasts or asparagus for added flavour.
Keep refrigerated and use within a few days, or freeze on arrival.
