Owton’s Top Tips!

Our Whole Partridge offers a delicate flavour that’s perfect for autumn and winter meals. These small game birds are ideal for individual servings and make an elegant alternative to chicken or pheasant.

Bring to room temperature before cooking. Roast at 200°C for around 25 to 30 minutes, basting with butter or olive oil to keep the meat moist. Rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to settle.

Serve with seasonal sides like roasted root vegetables, braised red cabbage and game gravy.

Just keep chilled and use within a few days, or freeze on arrival for future use.
